To create a magical silence

To induce a magical silence upon a room, complete the following steps. Mark the insignia of Vecna upon each of the four corners of the room with any available markings, although chalk or ink imbued with traces of residium are preferred. The greater the quality of the materials, the greater the effect the magical silence will have. A border should be drawn from these markings around the room or the area in which silence is required.

It is important never to allow any of the participants in the ritual to speak during its creation until the markings are in place.

Once they are in place, one of the participants should step into the very center of the area, and channel magical energy into themselves before uttering the phrase; "Cú'nas Lae'thíl", putting emphasis on the first syllable of each of the words. At this point, the magical silence should be in effect. If not, check the area for interference and ensure that the border is fully in place.
